I. Mission Statement
A. To have fun playing fantasy baseball
B. To not compromise the fun of others through bad sportsmanship
II. League Format
A. H2H, 6x6 scoring, keeper format
B. 12 teams
C. Offensive categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS
D. Pitching categories: W, Hld, SV, K, ERA, WHIP
E. Minimum innings pitched needed will be set at 30 IP.
F. All in-season activity conducted via Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball
III. Roster Sizes and Positions
A. 25 man MLB roster
B. 5 man Prospects roster (3 added each season)
C. Hitting Positions - C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, UTIL, UTIL
D. Pitching Positions - SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, P
E. Bench Slots - 7
F. 3 DL slots
G. Position eligibility is based on standard Yahoo rules
H. 100 Roster Move Limit each season
IV. Minor League Eligibility
A. Standard MLB rookie definition (less than 130AB, less than 50IP)
B. Nippon League (Japan Pro Baseball) players are only eligible for the Prospects draft.
V. Deadlines
A. trading deadline - TBD
VI. Dynasty Format
A. All players on each roster at the end of the season are kept until the next season. This includes both minor league and major league roster.
B. For 2020 only, all teams may only keep a combined 20 players from their Major and Minor leagues. The rest will go into a re-draft pool with the new owners getting the 3 picks each first.
C. Players who have exhausted their Rookie status but are still on an owner's minor league team, must be either called up, traded or released by the beginning of the following season.
VII. Trades
A. In season trades can be reviewed and/or vetoed via the Yahoo system! Off-season trades should be posted on the "Trades for Review" board, and will be reviewed for 1 week before being considered completed.
B. In the event there is sufficient evidence for collusion any veto or trade approval may be cancelled by the commissioner, however it is the official policy of this league that trades should stand as long as the trade isn't clearly one-sided.
C. All players, prospects, and may be traded at any point during the season or in the off-season.
D. Draft Picks can be traded. But only while the draft is live. If the draft is over then you may trade picks for the next upcoming draft ONLY.
VIII. Drafts
A. There will be a minor league draft every year consisting of 3 rounds.
B. The Minor League Draft and the Waiver Wire will be determined by the Regular Season Standings.
IX. Roster Changes
A. Standard 2 day waiver period applies to all available players.
B. Waiver order will be determined by standings of worst to first. The worst team will always have the first chance to claim a player (This is a trial run for 2020).
B. Roster changes will be daily.
C. There is a Max of 4 roster moves per week.
D. Ohtani Rule: If a player has both Pitching and Hitting ability, the owner of the player will get to keep both Hitting and Pitching positions unless he decides to trade them away.
X. Adding Unclaimed Prospects
A. Unclaimed prospects MAY NOT be added to any team until they surpass 130 ab's or 50 ip. At that point you may make a waiver claim prior to them hitting the mark by using the link on the homepage. Or draft them as a FA once Yahoo! has them as surpassing the minimum number of ip or ab's.
B. Unclaimed prospects that do not surpass 130 ab's or 50 ip during the season are only available in the following years minor league draft.
c. No prospect on another teams minor league roster may be claimed, even if they're immediately promoted to their parent club and contributing.
XI. Payouts
A. Payouts will be determined by the final playoff standings.
B. 1st =$400, 2nd = $125, 3rd = $50, 4th = $25

B. If there is a newcomer to the league, they will automatically get the first pick in the minor league draft
