I thought the Colorado Cubs did very well. I particularly liked the value he found in the 3rd and 4th round with Jeff Clement and Matt Antonelli. I think that everyone came away with at least 1 or 2 players that you could consider as future studs, it seems like we have a very knowledgeable group of baseball fans here. I am really excited to see how it goes.

I vote for westcoast and bad beats...westcoast's first 6 guys have real stud potential, and bourne and volstad could be immediate contributors, just not studs...and i love triunfel although WC probably wanted hardys replacement to be a little closer to the bigs
beats has guys that could make an impact and be studs very soon in bruce and davis, and potential true studs 3-4 years from now in porcello and vitters, so i love that balance...im not a huge fan of barton, but cant argue with the value of getting him in the 5th...davis could be a real masher too, and the move to 1B is probably good for him
as much as anything i like that all their guys have set positions, that bad defense wont move them all over the diamond...davis would be a good example, but he's already moved from 3B to 1B...its nice to know when you draft a guy to eventually replace a veteran at a certain position that hes not gonna end up in left field, like ryan braun a year ago, and screw with your original plan

It's too hard to say who had the best minors draft cause they are prospects. Who knows what will happen.
fyi - my 3rd round pick was beats (Jeff Clement) and beats 5th round pick (barton) was mine. I thought my best pick of the draft was carrasco though.
really whish I had been able to get Soto and Vitters (big surprise right?). I think they both have a strong future (one now one later).
Jarrod parker might have been the best 5th round pick, and I was really surprised to see ian stewart go in the 5th round. He might turn out to be a hell of a player.
The best 8th round pick was deffinately alexei ramirez. He might turn out to be a hell of a player.
there were a couple others I can't think of off the top of my head that I really wanted that went earlier than I thought they would.

I like West Coast's draft....looks good to me. Aside from that...i'm amazed that Baum took Redlegs for his first 3 rounds....if i din't know better i'd think he was a homer.
