We should probably start keeping a ledger of all these bits and peices of rules. A charter if you will.

Let's say player X goes undrafted in our minor league draft, but makes the big league club out of spring training and exhausts his rookie status during this season. Player X would then be eligible for next season's pro draft, but unavailable to any team this year? Am I understanding this correctly?
Also, I would not be opposed to expanding the Minor League rosters.

My thoughts were to be that if a player goes undrafted but then exhausts his rookie status, he would then be available as a free agent to be picked up by whomever. If he were to exhaust his rookie status, he wouldn't qualify for next year's draft. So he would have to be a free agent.

I will be getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow so I don't know if I'll be able to get to it by then. John, if you don't mind do you think you can put something together? If not, I'll probably do it tomorrow night.
